I'm an old-school singer/songwriter, My music is contemporary folk-rock. I have my roots in the radical 1980's independent music scene in Vancouver, Canada. I write songs from brash to ballads, and from edgy to easy-listening, covering a breadth of styles. Lyrical tunes on catchy melodies, and driven with steady grooves all add up to a unique, yet recognizable west coast style and sound. Spring 2009 saw the review appear in the internationally distributed Recording Magazine. The reviewer loved my submission of Way of My Love, and gave it a "big thumbs up!" In the summer of 2008, Sun Media Corp - Canada's largest newspaper publisher, nationally reviewed my music, appreciating the acoustic "odes to Sweet Love,... ," and the more rockin' "gritty" Stories From Hell. In 1995 I released the CD 'The Sun Always Rises', which the Vancouver music press wrote of as being "rich in visual imagery" the Vancouver Sun , with "a power of their own" the WestEnder , and "Perfect pop hooks with a folk flavour" the Vancouver Courier.
