the Yellowhead Highway

The Yellowhead Highway in northern British Columbia cuts through the Rocky Mountains via the Yellowhead Pass and travels westward to the northern port city of Prince Rupert. Long stretches of empty highway are a drivers' pleasure in the fall, while during the summer months, this highway is crowded with holiday travelers.
The Robson Valley is rich farming country. It's near here that the Fraser River begins its journey across B.C. and south to the Pacific Ocean. Away from the small farming and logging centers, this area is truly wilderness.

Mount Robson is the highest point in the Canadian Rockies. Towering high from the valley floor, this beautiful mountain is rarely seen without a shroud of cloud.
