in the north Okanagan is "houseboat capitol of Canada".
A popular summer recreation area, Sicamous is within easy access
via the Okanagan highways and the Trans Canada highway.

Lake is in the center of the Okanagan valley. Wineries lined the
lake's shores, joining tourism as major economic generators in
the area.
